The USA Today have published a review of the 2010 Jeep Patriot. 'The 2010 tester arrived just in time for a 20-inch snow. Good news: Its AWD handled anything that fit beneath the Patriot's ground clearance. It's a front-drive system that shifts power to the rear wheels when the fronts slip. A quick-flick lever holds the system in AWD mode, keeping it from reverting to FWD. It still allows some front/rear shifting, rather than locking into a 50/50 split the way hardcore 4x4s do. It's all you'll need unless you bang about off the road.'
