2010-Mazdaspeed3-SearchChicago.jpg

A review of the 2010 Mazdaspeed3 has been posted over at SearchChicago. 'At first glance you may not appreciate the 2010 MS3's all-new "happy" face. I didn't have a problem with it, though, and I certainly didn't have a problem with the rest of the car. There isn't anything in this price range (starting price is $23,195) that delivers as much fun as the Mazdaspeed3. When talking about "best bang for the buck," the MS3 is at the top of the list. Under the hood of the 2010 MS3 is a powerful 2.3-liter turbocharged and intercooled four-cylinder engine that pounds out 263 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque.'

2010-Mazda-Mazda3-S-LeftLane.jpg

LeftLane have published a review of the 2010 Mazda Mazda3 s sport sedan. 'At times, you forget the Mazda3 is a front-wheel-drive sedan. It responds so predictably and so delightfully neutrally to inputs that it feels almost like all four wheels are moving. It doesn't offer the goofy slide-ready tossability of an all wheel drive car, but that's no bad thing. Instead, it rewards the driver with a positive, immediately enjoyable experience. It's a car that isn't hard to have fun with, even on the simplest on ramp or hint of a curve in the road. As for fuel economy - well, it's not a strong point. The Mazda3 s actually has a larger fuel tank than the i: 15.9 gallons rather than a paltry 14.5. But the bad news is that the s sips fuel at a rate of 21 mpg around town and 29 mpg on the highway - our testing roughly mirrored those figures.'

Mazda3i-Touring-The-Garage-Blog.jpg

The Garage Blog have published a review of the Mazda3i Touring. 'The interior of the Mazda3 carries the sporty theme, with a driver-focused cockpit. Seats are firm and supportive, and I had no trouble finding a comfortable driving position. The silver trim that is standard on the Touring model did a decent job of breaking up what was otherwise a dark interior. While the plastic steering wheel and shift knob reminded me I was in a lesser model, I actually preferred the simple white on black gauges as opposed to the electroluminescent gauges found on the Mazda3s and Mazdaspeed3. It goes to show because it costs more to make does not mean it is always better.'

2010-Mazda-CX-7-Diesel-Popular-Mechanics.jpg

Popular Mechanics have published a review of the 2010 Mazda CX-7 Diesel SUV. 'The engine features a new diesel particulate filter (DPF) made from a ceramic material with high thermal resistance, and it includes a unique catalyst developed by Mazda, which incorporates oxygen that's stored in the base material. Supplemented by the oxygen present in the exhaust gases, the catalyst improves the combustion of soot emissions. The increased level of oxygen speeds the regeneration of the filter, making it more efficient. Filter regeneration is only needed half as often as conventional systems, and each regeneration process takes only a third as long.'

2011-Mazda2-The-Truth-About-Cars.jpg

The Truth About Cars have published a review of the 2011 Mazda2 (European Spec). 'On paper, the Mazda2's 102 hp 1.5 liter MZR and 4-speed automatic aren't very impressive. The Fit has 15 ponies and one gear more. But from a roll, you'd be hard pressed to see a difference. The Mazda's willing motor and short gears make it much more responsive than the figures suggest, especially at highway speeds. It suffers more deflection in crosswinds, but trumps the Honda in terms of high speed stability over heaves. The steering also firms up much more at speeds, giving you more confidence in dealing with road conditions. While the engine struggles to pull past 100 mph, the Mazda's small footprint makes it easy to thread through traffic to conserve what precious little momentum you can build up in such a light car.'

Mazda-6-S-Grand-Touring-TheTruthAboutCars.jpg

The Truth About Cars have published a review of the Mazda 6 S Grand Touring. 'The S Grand Touring trim package is the top of the Mazda 6 lineup and this one came equipped with the only available options, the technology and navigation packages. That makes it as fully kitted as a 6 can get with an MSRP right around $33,000. The car had Mazda's 3.7 liter 272 HP DOHC 24 valve V6 with variable valve timing mated to a 6 speed automatic with available tap shifting. Equipment included power and heated leather seats, dual zone automatic climate control, glass sunroof, high end Bose audio system with six-disc changer, 10 speakers, sat radio, a nav system, auto dimming mirrors, rain and snow sensing wipers, stability control, blind spot warning.'

2010-Mazda-CX-7-i-Sport-TheGarage.jpg

A review of the 2010 Mazda CX-7 i Sport crossover SUV has been posted over at The Garage Blog. 'Rewind five years ago to see what Mazda had on offer, and you may be shocked to find no crossovers at all-just the MPV minivan and the Ford Escape based Tribute. Mazda's answer arrived in 2007 in the form of the CX-7. In typical Mazda fashion, the CX-7 was like no other CUV out there. This was no wallflower-svelte, edgy, well-equipped, but above all, sportier than any crossover had a right to be.

2010 Mazda CX-9 Touring Review - CNET

2010-Mazda-CX-9-Touring-CNET.jpg

CNET have published their review of the 2010 Mazda CX-9 Touring. 'The CX-9 comes in Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring trims; however, all trims get the same 3.7-liter V-6 and six-speed-automatic transmission. The car can also be had in front- or all-wheel-drive formats. Our car, in Crystal White Pearl Mica, came with the Touring trim that adds niceties such as leather power adjustable seats. All trims get a hands-free Bluetooth phone system. Rather than the big, squared-off style of SUVs, the CX-9 mostly looks like a jumbo-size wagon. The 2010 model shows a little of Mazda's new Nagare design language in the front end, but it hasn't gone through as complete a transformation as the upcoming Mazda5 has.'

2010-MazdaSpeed3-USAToday.jpg

The USA Today have published their review of the 2010 MazdaSpeed3 compact sedan. 'The Speed3 is based on the latest remake of the basic Mazda3, a compact sedan that's been grown from the same seeds that bloomed into the well-regarded European-market Ford Focus, a U.S.-market version of which isn't due until next year. And when Focus arrives, it won't have a high-performance version like this, at least not for a while. Ford's a bit fuzzy on that. The Speed3 is here now, and it is the best high-performance bargain out there.'

2010-Mazdaspeed-3-SEMA-Showcar.jpg

Inside Line have published their "First drive" review of the 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 SEMA Showcar. 'This 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 SEMA car drives like a well-sorted piece. It handles, stops and accelerates impressively. It neither rattles your kidneys with its stiff-legged ride nor crashes your head against the ceiling with the soggy ride. And that's because Mazdaspeed didn't simply farm the showcar project out to someone and write a check. Instead, in-house engineers and designers carefully combined parts from the Mazda parts bin with those from trusted aftermarket partners.
