2010-Nissan-GT-R-Car-Advice.jpg

Car Advice have published a review of the 2010 Nissan GT-R. 'Driving a Nissan GT-R is similar to driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution or Subaru WRX STI, except that it's powered by a 3.8-litre twin turbo V6 VR38DETT engine delivering (a ridiculous) 357kW and 588Nm of torque. That means it goes significantly faster than its cheaper Japanese rivals but also handles better (figure that one out). What really sets it apart is the 0-100km/h time of around the 3.5 second mark (can go down as low as 3.2 seconds with the risk of damaging the transmission) - this puts the GT-R in the same league as Ferraris, Lamborghinis and other European supercars worth considerably more coin.

2010-Nissan-Altima-USA-Today.jpg

The USA Today have published a review of the 2010 Nissan Altima. 'Nissan, seeking to sharpen the claws of its contender in the midsize-sedan catfight, gave its 2010 Altima a different hood, grille and wheels and tweaked the interior and -- voila -- it's a whole different machine. It must be noted, however, that the V-6 test car seemed as different from the four-cylinder tester as fish from fowl. The four-banger Altima finished an inglorious sixth among eight midsize rivals in the USA TODAY/Cars.com/MotorWeek $25,000 Family Sedan Shootout. Judged by six experts and a family, the showdown was chronicled here in May and is online at usatoday.com/money/autos.'

2010 Nissan 370Z Review - CNET

2010-Nissan-370Z-CNET.jpg

A review of the 2010 Nissan 370Z coupe has been posted over at CNET. ' The 2010 Nissan 370Z is a short, wide car with a wheel base at a little larger than 8 feet and width of 6 feet, giving it excellent cornering characteristics. Although weighing only 3,314 pounds, Nissan powers it with a 3.7-liter V-6 engine that makes 332 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. The 370Z has a unique style, too, and looks like nothing else on the road. The Nissan is a coupe with two doors and a hatchback, but no rear seat. It is also low to the ground, which requires a little leg bending to get behind the wheel, but we didn't find it tortuous. From the driver's seat, the hatchback's deeply slanted glass and the wide B-pillars compromise your rear visibility. But with this car's speed, you should only worry about what's ahead.

2010-Nissan-GT-R-CNET.jpg

CNET have published their review of the 2010 Nissan GT-R coupe. 'The 2010 Nissan GT-R thrives on speed; at anything less than 60 mph, it feels like a Soviet-era Russian tractor. Reviewers, including Car and Driver and Edmunds.com, tested the 2009 version of the GT-R at 3.3 seconds to 60 mph. For 2010, Nissan squeezed an extra 5 horsepower out of the engine. Exemplifying the use of tech to enhance road performance, the GT-R tops its 3.8-liter engine with twin turbochargers. A dynamic suspension actively counteracts body roll, and power is selectively fed forward and rear by an all-wheel-drive system. A six-speed dual-clutch transmission makes lightning-fast gear changes at the flick of a paddle.'

2010 Nissan Cube Review - CNET

2010-Nissan-Cube-CNET.jpg

CNET have published their review of the 2010 Nissan Cube. 'At our one attempt to set a land speed record with the Cube, we mashed the gas pedal and the Cube moved smartly forward with no hesitation, but no dramatics, either. The acceleration fell short of pinning us to the seats, but it was steady, and didn't wheeze out at 60 mph. On the freeway, we never felt the Cube had trouble holding 65 to 70 mph speeds, although it doesn't have much left for fast passing maneuvers at that speed. The Cube can also be had with a six-speed manual, but the CVT gets better fuel economy, at 27 mpg city and 31 mpg highway, according to EPA tests. We saw 28.9 mpg in our mixed freeway and city driving.'

2010 Nissan Xterra S 4x4 Review - CNET

2010-Nissan-Xterra-S-4-4-CNET.jpg

CNET have published a review of the 2010 Nissan Xterra S 4x4. 'Only one engine is offered with the Nissan Xterra, a 4-liter V-6 engine that outputs 261 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque. This puts it on par with the likes of the 2010 Toyota 4Runner in displacement and power. However, the large displacement V-6 doesn't feel beefy, hiding most of its power when cruising around town. This is mostly the fault of the single-option five-speed automatic transmission's hesitance to downshift on demand, a trait that probably helps the Xterra reach its EPA estimated 15-city/20-highway mpg rating, but doesn't do any favors for the acceleration. Nudging the accelerator for a highway merge resulted in no noticeable acceleration.'

2010-Nissan-Cube-The-Car-Connection.jpg

The Car Connection have published their review of the 2010 Nissan Cube. 'Unlike some vehicles that feature attention-getting exterior styling but boring interiors, the 2010 Nissan Cube carries its design theme into the cabin. Motor Trend says that it features "pronounced curvature in the front dashboard as well as more subtly arcing surfaces for rear passengers." Edmunds observes that the Nissan Cube's "basic cabin design has soft curves and shapes that are a bit different from the typical hard-edged style employed by most rivals." Most visible on the interior of the Nissan Cube is a "ripple effect" that Autoblog notes "dominates the headliner and is repeated in the bottoms of the cupholders and on the speaker grilles." In pictures, this element can seem a bit overbearing, but reviewers all reacted positively after seeing the physical manifestation of the "Jacuzzi lounge" theme.'

2010-Nissan-King-Cab-Pro-4X-SearchChicago.jpg

SearchChicago have published their review of the 2010 Nissan King Cab Pro-4X pick-up. 'The King Cab is offered with either a 6.5- or 8-foot bed. Pro-4X decals tout the high-end package while halogen fog lights and body-colored grille and bumpers give it a great-looking go-anywhere attitude. Nissan's Pro-4X is extremely capable and it will meet the needs of serious pickup drivers. Base priced at $33,800, my tester was packed with options for work or fun, capability and convenience. Giving the full-size Titan some credentials is a standard 5.6-liter Endurance V-8, delivering 317 horsepower and 385 pound-feet of torque.'

Nissan-Cube-Krom-Edition-LeftLane.jpg

A review of the Nissan Cube Krom Edition has been posted over at LeftLaneNews.com. 'The Cube is an asymmetrically designed utility vehicle that features a refrigerator-like rear door, waterdrop roof liner, roundish windows throughout and an expressive front end. It tends to throw the hammer at convention the same way the woman tossed hers at the TV screen in the original Apple Computer commercial back in 1984. But most Cube drivers weren't even born back then - at least Nissan's product development folks hope.'

Kia-Soul-Versus-Nissan-Cube.jpg

The Truth About Cars have published their "Comparison review"of the Kia Soul and Nissan Cube. 'The Soul's handling advantage vis-à-vis direct competitors comes at the evident expense of ride quality. On subpar pavement the busy ride borders on punishing, for the ears even more than the seat of the pants. While the base Soul has 15-inch steelies, and the + has 16-inch alloys, both the ! and the sport are shod with 18s. The Soul's bold fender flares certainly pair best with the large wheels, but the attendant low-profile tires thump loudly across every bump and divot. This sort of ride might be worth paying for sports car handling. But many sports cars these days ride much better, and the Soul certainly doesn't handle like a sports car.
